DaVinci Resolve Video Editor

Job Overview We are looking for a skilled Video Editor specializing in DaVinci Resolve to create polished, engaging, and professional video content. The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in DaVinci Resolve and comfortable handling the complete editing workflow, including cutting, pacing, transitions, color correction, audio, subtitles, and final exports. Strong attention to detail and a good understanding of visual storytelling are essential. Key Responsibilities Edit raw footage into polished and engaging video content using DaVinci Resolve Perform video cutting, trimming, sequencing, transitions, and pacing Apply color correction and basic color grading using DaVinci Resolve Add subtitles, captions, text overlays, transitions, and visual effects Clean and enhance audio, including dialogue, music, and sound effects Maintain consistent video quality, style, and visual presentation Organize footage, project files, and media assets efficiently within DaVinci Resolve Incorporate client feedback and complete revisions promptly Export videos according to the required platform specifications and formats Manage editing projects and meet agreed deadlines What We're Looking For Strong proficiency in DaVinci Resolve is required Proven experience as a professional video editor Strong understanding of editing, pacing, storytelling, and composition Experience with color correction and color grading in DaVinci Resolve Ability to work with raw footage and turn it into polished final content Good understanding of audio editing and sound design Strong attention to detail and consistency Ability to follow creative direction and implement feedback Organized workflow and ability to manage multiple projects Reliable, responsive, and able to meet deadlines Portfolio or showreel demonstrating DaVinci Resolve editing skills Nice to Have Experience editing short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts Experience with long-form YouTube content Knowledge of…
