Social Media Manager - Malaysian

Industry: Finance Work Setup: Remote Hours: 4 Hours/Day (20 Hours/Week) Overview We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to support a finance industry client in building and growing their online presence across multiple social media platforms. The ideal candidate should have experience managing XHS (Xiaohongshu), Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, with the ability to create engaging content, develop social media strategies, and understand how to communicate financial topics effectively to an audience. This role requires someone who can do more than content execution — you should be able to collaborate with the client, provide strategic input, research trends, and suggest ways to improve the brand's social media presence. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow the client's social media platforms, including XHS, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok Create engaging video content, graphics, and social media creatives related to the finance industry Brainstorm and collaborate with the client on content strategies and campaign ideas Research current social media trends, viral formats, and competitor content Recommend new content angles and strategies to improve audience engagement Plan and organize content calendars and posting schedules Ensure content aligns with the client's branding, messaging, and target audience Monitor social media performance and provide insights for continuous improvement Required Skills & Qualifications Malaysian candidates only Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Creator, or similar role Experience managing XHS (Xiaohongshu), Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok Strong skills in video content creation and graphic design Ability to create engaging social media content from concept to execution Strong understanding of social media trends, audience behavior, and content strategy Good communication skills and ability to collaborate directly with clients Able to work independently and manage deadlines Nice to…
