Video Editing VA - Tuition/Learning Industry (Philippines-based) Rate: SGD 5/hour Hours: 20 hours/week | 80 hours/month Work arrangement: WFH We are hiring a creative Video Editing VA with experience in the tuition, learning or education industry to produce engaging and fun video content for an education-focused business. The ideal candidate should have a knack for being creative and know how to turn educational content into videos that are entertaining, engaging and easy to watch. You should enjoy experimenting with creative edits, visual elements and fun effects to make learning content more interesting for students. We are looking for someone who can go beyond basic cuts and captions and bring personality, creativity and fresh ideas into every video. Responsibilities: Edit talking-head + short-form educational videos, and other relevant videos Create fun, creative and engaging edits that keep students interested Add creative cuts, hooks and texture hooks Use captions, transitions, animations, sound effects, zooms and visual elements where appropriate Find creative ways to make educational content more engaging and entertaining Follow creative direction and editing references Make videos engaging and suitable for social media Make revisions based on feedback and own expertise Deliver videos within agreed timelines Bring creative ideas and suggestions to improve the content Requirements: Experience in video editing for the tuition, learning or education industry Strong experience editing talking-head videos A knack for being creative and turning simple content into fun and engaging videos Good understanding of creative cuts, creative hooks and texture hooks Able to create engaging edits, not just basic cuts and captions Comfortable using Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve Good sense of pacing, storytelling and visual engagement Creative, proactive and willing to experiment with different editing styles Reliable, responsive and able to meet…
