Recruited, interviewed and trained new hires, and prepared the branch for each peak season
Enforced company policies, safety rules and audit requirements across the branch
Reported branch results to the area or head office and proposed ways to improve them
A resume objective you can adapt
Supervisor with store experience and a degree in business, looking for a branch manager role where I can lead a team, grow sales and keep customers coming back.
Skills employers ask for
Leading and motivating a team
Reading sales and inventory reports
Solving customer problems calmly
Planning schedules and setting daily priorities
Clear communication in English and Filipino
What the interview asks
How do you motivate a team that is missing its targets? Give a real example: how you found the cause, set small goals and recognized progress.
What would you do if a long-time customer complained loudly in front of others? Say you'd listen, move the talk somewhere private, fix the problem and follow up.
How do you handle an employee who is often late? Describe a calm talk first, then clear expectations, then the company's formal steps.
How do you make sure the branch meets its sales goals? Mention tracking daily numbers, coaching staff and adjusting your plan every week.
Most posts ask for a bachelor's degree, often in business or management, plus prior supervisor or assistant manager experience.
Prepare a resume that shows team size, targets you handled and results you improved, without making up numbers.
Bring a valid ID and your government numbers such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG and TIN.
Many companies ask for an NBI clearance and a medical certificate before your start date.
Expect two or three interviews, sometimes with the area manager or HR, and a case question about a branch problem.
What the work is like
You're responsible for the whole branch, so you're on the floor, on calls and on reports in the same day. The hardest part is balancing targets from head office with the needs of your staff and customers.
