Skills employers ask for

What the interview asks

  1. Why do you want to work here? Name something real, like the location, the hours or the team.
  2. Can you work weekends, holidays and closing shifts? Answer honestly, because the manager plans the schedule around it.
  3. What would you do if a customer got the wrong order? Say sorry, fix it fast and tell your shift lead.
  4. How do you handle a long line of customers? Focus on one order at a time and keep talking to the customer.

How to get hired

  1. Most posts ask for at least a senior high school diploma and that you're 18 or older.

  3. Some stores also ask for an NBI clearance and a medical certificate before your first day.
