What the interview asks
How do you find candidates for a hard-to-fill role? Name the places you'd look, like job boards, referrals and social media, and how you'd test them.
How would you screen 100 resumes quickly? Say you'd check the must-have requirements first, then shortlist the closest matches.
What would you do if a candidate stops replying after the final interview? Say you'd follow up by call and message, then tell the hiring manager and keep other candidates warm.
How do you handle a hiring manager who keeps rejecting candidates? Say you'd ask for clear feedback and agree on the must-haves before sourcing again.
Most posts ask for a college degree, often in psychology, HR, business or a related course.
Some posts ask for a few months of HR or recruitment experience, but many agencies hire fresh graduates.
Prepare a resume, a valid ID, and your government numbers such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG and TIN.
Apply on job boards or company career pages. Many agencies also run walk-in hiring days.
Expect a phone screen, an interview and sometimes a short test on screening resumes or writing job posts.
What the work is like
You spend most of the day on calls, messages and interviews, mostly at a desk. The hard part is chasing candidates and managers while many roles are open at once.
