What the interview asks
Why do you want to work as a virtual assistant? Name something real, like organizing tasks or working with clients abroad.
How do you keep track of many tasks at once? Describe your actual system, like a to-do list, calendar reminders or Trello.
What would you do if you made a mistake in a client's email? Tell the client right away, fix it and explain how you'll avoid it next time.
Are you comfortable working in a client's time zone? Answer honestly, and mention you have a quiet space and steady internet.
Most posts ask for at least a senior high school diploma, and many prefer some college.
Prepare a clean resume, a valid ID and your government numbers such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG and TIN.
Make sure you have a laptop, headset and stable internet, since most posts require them.
Apply online and expect a short interview, often by video call, and sometimes a small task test like typing a reply or scheduling a meeting.
What the work is like
You work from home or a quiet space, usually alone, and talk to clients by chat, email and video call. The hard part is juggling many small tasks and keeping up with a client's schedule.
